Day 1: Welcome to Oslo !
Arrival to Gardermoen in Oslo. The airport is located 47 km northeast of Oslo and the best way to arrive to the city centre is by the airport train or bus from Gardermoen.
If you arrive early we recommend you to buy the Oslo Pass. You can purchase the pass at the Tourist Information Centre or through hotel receptions and many other official sale points in Oslo. The Oslo Pass is a terrific value that will allow you free admission to many attractions and museums as well as special offers to many restaurants, shops and more.

Day 2: Norway In A Nutshell® to Bergen

After breakfast you will make your way to the station in Oslo to board your Norway in a nutshell® train to Bergen and start your journey. Travel through fairytale landscape, with beautiful waterfalls and deep blue fjords that this area is known for. The train will stop at the mountain railway station of Myrdal, there you will take a side trip on the Flåm Railway on one of the world’s steepest tracks. Many people say the railway between Oslo and Bergen is one of the most beautiful railway journey in the world, and this side journey with Flåm railway is the most stunning section. This Journey will literally and figuratively leave you breathless!
After lunch you will board the fjordcruise to the UNESCO World Heritage Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in Europe. The cruise takes you to Gudvangen where you will take the bus to the outdoor capital in Norway, Voss. From Voss you take the train again all the way to Bergen for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Day at leisure in Bergen

The day is yours to enjoy some leisure time in Bergen before you will board the Hurtigruten cruise late in the afternoon toward Trondheim. Here are a few choices that we recommend:
Fløibanen Funicular Railway is a short trip that starts from the city centre, and takes you up Mount Fløyen, approximately 320 metres above sea level. Wonderful view over the city !
Bryggen is the harbour area of Bergen where the very first buildings were constructed. It is one of Norway’s main attractions and is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The magnificent architecture of these wooden buildings is carefully preserved and hosts a variety of restaurants, shops, offices, artists’ studios, craft workshops, and the Bryggen Museum. The Fish Market in the heart of Bergen is a must see and one of Norway‘s most frequented outdoors markets.

Day 4: Ålesund - Where Mountains and Fjords Meet The Ocean

Around noon the cruise will stop for three hours in the beautiful village of Ålesund. Now it is time to discover the charming town which is known for fishing and furniture production. This nice and warm village is located at the peak of the fjords in Sunnmøre. Experience and wander around the lovely harbor and take a walk up the 418 steps to the top of Mount Aksla for stunning view of the city or just relax in this calm and friendly village. After this short stop at the picturesque city of Alesund the ship continues toward Trondheim with a short stop at Molde.

Day 5: The Realm of the Vikings in Trondheim

Today you will arrive early in the morning to Trondheim. The city has many top rated attractions and here are some that we recommend; Nidaros Cathedral was built by King Olav Kyrre in the years 1066-1093. Wander through the harbour area to get a feel of how this city became a critical marketplace from the Viking ages right up through today. The Trondheim Maritime Museum is great for all ages and explores the deep history of Trondheim’s trading tradition from the 17th century through today. Stroll down to the Market Square and experience the city’s main street named Munkegata and the medieval Archbishop’s Palace. The Trondheim Science Museum is a popular attraction for locals and great for younger children with many hands-on experiments and displays.

Day 6: The Capital of the Arctic - Tromsø
After breakfast early in the morning you head to the airport for your flight to Tromsø. (not included in the price),
Tromsø is located 220 miles north of the Arctic Circle and is famous for the midnight sun and arctic nights. Mountains and beautiful fjords surround the largest city in northern Norway where nature, culture and history abound.
Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore this arctic city in the afternoon and get a sneak peek of the magnificent arctic views, breath-taking scenery and the cultural and historic offerings. Before you will head out into the guided Northern Light tour to experience Northern Lights.

Experience the spectacular colors and the beauty of the northern lights.
Spend the night hunting for the stunning beauty of the northern lights, or aurora borealis, only 75 minutes away from downtown Tromsø. Your guide will search for the best vantage point to witness the magnificent aurora. To fend off the cold hot drinks will be served and you can grill sausages over an open fire inside a Sami tent (lavvu) while you wait for the lights to make an appearance.
Please remember that the Northern Lights are a unique and spectacular natural phenomenon and therefore we cannot guarantee sightings even if the tour is operated. We reserve the right to cancel departure if the weather conditions are not favourable with a full refund.
If you have had enough of the northern lights and wish to relax you can lie down on a warm reindeer skin and relax. A traditional dinner will also be on offer (Bidos).

Day 7: Dog Sledding Adventure (included)

Come and experience the true engines of the north!
Your dog sledding adventure starts with an introduction to your barking (but still very friendly) husky team that will pull your sled. Preparations for the voyage will be made and you will be provided with instructions on how to drive a dog sledding team. Before you know it, you and the dogs will be working together as you drive the sled by yourself through the vast white landscape into the beautiful Vass Valley. The trail that you will follow is approximately 15 km and will lead you and your team into the remote mountain and forest landscape
You will be driving in pairs, one driver and one passenger on each sled, with opportunity to switch places half way. At the end of your trail you will return to Camp Tamok. There you will be served a hot meal in a Sami lavvu (herdsmen’s tent).
